ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY OVER LAKE WALLENPAUACK CANCELLED!

DISREGARD INFORMATION BELOW, THE FIREWORKS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED EFFECTIVE 7/1! Are you ready for some fireworks over Lake Wallenpaupack on July 4th?!?!  WE ARE!!  (Rain date July 5th) View the show by boat OR park your car and view from Wallenpaupack Area High School, however, this year new measures are being introduced based on Covid 19 and preventative responsibilities.  The safety of our communities is the utmost priority of the Chamber, and we ask spectators to please exercise patience and understand that the number of available viewing spots at the high school will be limited.  The Wallenpaupack Area High School parking lots will open at 7:30 pm and will be closed once full.  Each car that enters will receive 2 parking slots, to ensure social distancing.  Car’s will be allowed to park in one spot and use the second to set up for viewing purposes.  (Please bring chairs or blankets).  The school bleachers will be closed with NO access to spectators. 

This FABULOUS display begins at dusk, roughly 9:15 pm.  The countdown to the Fireworks will happen live on-air on Classic Hits 105.3, with accompanying patriotic music.

After years of dedicated interest and financial commitment from area businesses owners and residents, the Lake Region of the Northern Pocono Mountains can proudly boast one of the best fireworks displays in the area. 

The Wallenpaupack Fireworks are made possible entirely through donations and sponsorship by local area businesses.
