The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway will resume operations in Jim Thorpe this weekend, February 15, 2020. This will be a wonderful accompaniment to Jim Thorpe\u2019s WinterFest.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LGSR<\/a> has been offering excursion train rides for more than 15 years, introducing many visitors to Jim Thorpe<\/a> and its natural surroundings. The quaint shops, eateries and downtown benefit from the thousands of visitors the train attracts year after year.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His namesake, this borough, is and should always be known for its ability to provide a unique experience for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
