It\u2019s one of the greatest pleasures of summer- savoring a fine meal outdoors while listening to live music. Jazz on the Deck<\/a> at The Settlers Inn elevates that experience. Every Wednesday evening during summer, a rotating lineup of talented jazz musicians entertains from 6-9 p.m. Many of the featured performers are regulars on the New York City club scene. Guests may enjoy farm-to-table cuisine overlooking the Inn\u2019s manicured garden. Visitors may also opt to soak up the sights and sounds from a table on the lawn and take advantage of cocktail and full dinner service. The highly anticipated series begins on June 24 with John Curtin\u2019s Trim Trio. The music continues with the Spencer Reed Quartet (July 1), Andrea Wolper Trio (July 8), Gary Rixner Trio (July 15), Nancy Coletti Trio (July 22) and All That Jazz featuring Michelle Oram (July 29). August brings performances by Judi Silvano (Aug 5), A Night of Piano with Nick Niles (Aug 12), Robert Kopec Trio (Aug 19) and jazz vocalist Thos Shipley (Aug 26). Spencer and Nancy Reed close out the series on Aug 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Live music<\/a> at The Dock at Wallenpaupack<\/a> keeps the summer celebration going all weekend. Musicians perform either along the shoreline at Silver Birches Resort<\/a> or on the deck at The Dock on Wallenpaupack every Saturday and Sunday during summer. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely late lunch, dinner or drinks overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack while listening to the talented performers. Boats may anchor in the water, order Dock and Dine from the restaurant and chill out to the music. Bands perform from 3-6 p.m. The lineup features local favorites such as Gone Crazy, Eric Rudy, Kevin Campion and Rare Form.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBlues, Brews & BBQ at Ledges Hotel
<\/strong>Nothing says summer like barbecue. Every Sunday during summer, Glass- Wine.Bar.Kitchen<\/a> at Ledges Hotel<\/a> pairs the pastime with live blues music served on the deck overlooking Paupack High Falls. The menu features classic barbecue entrees and side dishes with a twist. Wallenpapuack Gorge serves as a natural amphitheater to showcase the talents of noted blues musicians. Blues, Brews and BBQ<\/a> kicks off on June 28 with a performance from The Barn Cats. Teddy Young and the Aces (July 5), Dustin Douglas and the Electric Gentleman (July 12) Randy Lippincott and Joey the Hot Box Simon (July 19) and Slam Allen (July 26) follow. Norman Taylor (Aug 2) gets the music started in August. That\u2019s followed by Gary Rixner Band (Aug 9), Merchants of Groove (Aug 16), Dan Brother Band (Aug 23) and Scott Weiss Band (Aug 30). The series concludes Labor Day weekend with a performance by Bobby Kyle Band (Sept 6). In addition to Blues, Brews and BBQ, guests to Glass- wine.bar.kitchen can enjoy a performance from John Curtin every Thursday evening beginning next week, plus live music from different entertainers every Friday night.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
